The methodology.
- Title and description widths are measured in pixels with the same fonts Google uses (Arial ~20px titles, ~14px descriptions).
- Snippets are truncated to Google's approximate pixel limits (≈600px titles, ≈960px descriptions on desktop) and flagged when too long or too short.

Why pixel width instead of character count?+
Google truncates snippets by pixel width, not characters. A title full of wide letters (m, w) gets cut sooner than one full of narrow ones (i, l), so counting characters alone misleads. Measuring pixels matches what actually happens in search.
